Norma – This is our attempt at a new standard throwing knife. Handmade in Sweden!
Our goal has been to create a throwing knife that meets all our requirements for the perfect introductory knife for knife throwing.

• The knife must be 100% designed for knife throwing – which means no knife steel. Instead, we have chosen Swedish Hardox as the material. It meets our demands exceptionally well, even at low thicknesses. These knives are almost impossible to bend or break.
• The knife must be ethical. It is not manufactured in any low-wage country under questionable conditions. We make it entirely ourselves in Arboga, using Swedish Hardox steel and vegetable-tanned leather from Tärnsjö. A true local craft.
• The knife must be customizable – so we offer it in thicknesses from 3–10 mm, in 3-packs, stonewashed or mirror polished. You can have it with a pouch or sheath, with or without handle scales, in any color you want – with screws or rivets. Want your name engraved on it? No problem. Everything is up to you!
• Meets the requirements for throwing knives in all international knife throwing organizations.
• And all of this should be possible on a budget – so we offer these knives 10–20% cheaper than comparable knives, which usually don’t even meet half of the requirements above! We think we’ve done a great job – but we’ll let you decide.

Norma comes from the Latin word for “standard”. And that’s exactly what it’s made to be.
After many years of throwing and researching which blade profile works best, we have now developed a throwing knife we truly believe in – and at a lower price than its competitors. Our goal is to make sport knife throwing more accessible to everyone.
Norma has the same geometry regardless of thickness. The only thing that changes is the weight. This means you can choose the thickness that suits you best:
3 mm – Light and gentle, perfect for smaller people or those with injuries where a heavier knife becomes tiring, especially during longer sessions.
4–5 mm – The sweet spot for this model. Robust and ideal for the vast majority of throwers.
6–10 mm – Heavier, for those with specific preferences or who just want to destroy things :-)

Norma is cut from Swedish Hardox 450 – an extremely tough and wear-resistant Swedish steel normally used in mines and heavy industry. This means your Norma can handle the hard landings of real throwing, over and over, year after year. It keeps its shape and function significantly longer – probably for a lifetime. After extensive and brutal testing, we chose this steel because it neither bends nor cracks easily.
Make the knife your own by adding scales (handles) in Swedish Tärnsjö leather. They are glued and screwed in place. The leather extends slightly beyond the edge to increase durability, and when it eventually wears out or you get tired of it, it’s easy to replace with new handles.

Care:
Wipe the knife with an oily cloth after use to prevent rust.
Leather handles and sheaths are cleaned with standard leather care products and should occasionally be treated with e.g. beeswax.
